The Blessings of Revelation

What a great privilege for us to be able to access the mind and the will of Heavenly Father through revelation.

It is an edifying experience to attend stake conference. Our hearts are full as we receive revelations from the Spirit. Indeed, as Prophet Joseph Smith told, “Salvation cannot come without revelation.”

A Convert’s Testimony

I may not be as new in the Church as you may be, but just like you, I am a fruit of the prayers and hard work of full-time missionaries and friends who took their part to bring souls unto Christ.

As mentioned in Chapter 9 of Preach my Gospel, I did not realized that I was looking for the Restored Gospel until I found it.

Becoming an Effective Self-Reliance Facilitator

The Self-Reliance Services is a beautiful program for the members of the Church. It is an answer to the prayers of the leaders on how to help members be able to provide for their spiritual and temporal needs and extend help to others as well. I am glad to be part of the Stake Self Reliance Committee. My main role is to represent the sisters and families. I am privileged to be given additional responsibility to train ward leaders and facilitators and help them strengthen their testimony in the program.

Daughters in my Kingdom: Strengthening Marriages and Families

Our family is not perfect. My mom is a key in holding us together. In  my younger years, she had always brought me to the Methodist Church. Her efforts helped me develop my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. With the knowledge of the Savior, I was more prepared to accept the Restored Gospel.

Before I was called in the Relief Society, I served in the Primary Organization. I have learned at that time that nurturing children with the word of God is a divine role of women. The leaders and teachers in the Church work hand in hand with the parents to fulfill the plan of salvation for each of God’s children.
